All Dutch Dooley wants is to make a good impression on his girlfriend's teenage son. Unfortunately, the boy is a spoiled, spectacularly obnoxious prep-school brat who wants absolutely nothing to do with him. Naturally, the two are forced into a cross-country journey home for Thanksgiving, and things go downhill almost immediately.

Written by John Hughes and starring the incomparable Ed O'Neill, DUTCH is a bruising, frequently hilarious holiday road movie about class resentment, makeshift families, and the indignities of getting to know someone you can't stand. Part slapstick comedy, part working-class morality tale, it's a Thanksgiving film with considerably more bite than your average serving of turkey and stuffing. This holiday season, family is something you survive.
