11.19.26 SCREENING // MIDNIGHT RUN

FORMAT: BLU-RAY
HOSTED BY: GREG

When bounty hunter Jack Walsh is hired to bring a mild-mannered accountant from New York to Los Angeles, he figures it's an easy payday. Unfortunately, his prisoner has stolen millions from the mob, the FBI wants him, a rival bounty hunter is on their trail, and just about everything that can go wrong does.

Martin Brest's gloriously foul-mouthed road movie pairs Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin in one of cinema's great odd-couple partnerships. Equal parts action thriller, screwball comedy, and unlikely love story, MIDNIGHT RUN is a masterclass in comic timing, character chemistry, and the lost art of the intelligent Hollywood crowd-pleaser. Come for the car chases. Stay for the chorizo and eggs.
